How To Make A Tasty Gluten-Free Pancake
Place the flour in your bowl and make a space in the centre for your egg. Then you want to crack your egg into the mixture and pour a quarter of the milk in the mixture. Then mix thoroughly using an electric whisk – a normal spoon/whisk is fine, but it may just take a while.
Once you’ve done that, add the remaining milk in and whisk again until it’s lump-free. Then, leave it to rest for 20 minutes. However, you don’t have to do this but it’s preferable.
So, before you fry – let’s just give the mixture another couple of stirs.
Heat up your frying pan and add some coconut oil around the pan. When its warm, add some mixture to the pan. Be careful not to add too much though! We don’t want it being to thick or it won’t cook properly.
Leave the pancake in the pan for 1-2 minutes, or until it’s golden brown then flip the pancake onto the other side and repeat. Once that’s done, pop it in a warm oven until they’re all done. Repeat until you have used all the mixture, stirring the mixture between pancakes and adding more coconut oil for frying as necessary.
Now it’s time to add extras! We recommend maple-syrup for a gluten-free taste.
