How To Make An Amazing High Protein Pancake

It’s time to make the protein pancakes batter. In a large jug, place your flour, eggs, milk and sunflower/vegetable oil inside of it. Also, add a pinch of salt then make sure you whisk it so it gives off a smooth batter.

Now, you want to add your 50g of Whey Protein Powder into your mixture. You can add a flavoured protein powder into there, as chocolate protein powder, vanilla protein powder – or any other flavour will just add to your mixture.

The next step isn’t the most critical, but it is nice if you can do it. Leave it to sit for 30 minutes so the mixture is nice and smooth. However, as I said, it is not critical you do this and you can start cooking right away if you choose too.

Now it’s time for everyone’s favourite part, the frying. Place the frying pan on medium heat and make sure it’s wiped with oil before you start.

Add some of the mixture to the frying pan, be careful! We don’t want to make them too thick. You want to keep your pancakes frying for about 1 minute each side. Or until they’re golden.

There you go, a delicious protein pancake. Now you just need to repeat step five until they’re all cooked. It might be a good idea to keep them in a warm oven while you fry the others so they don’t get cold.

Once you’ve cooked the pancake, Time to add the toppings. We recommend peanut butter, greek yoghurt or fresh fruit to up the taste and increase the protein content.
